Trainer and new mum Vic and myself sat down to discuss her postpartum journey. Being her first pregnancy, Vic understands how incredible this time is but also the changes and new challenges that arise in the early stages of motherhood. It’s all new – your body, your life, every day is different. When Vic started getting back into exercise, she quickly realised there wasn’t an inviting, motivating, safe place for new mums to come together. And this is why we have launched – MOVE IT MUMMA.
MIM is like mothers group but for movement. We want to create a safe, encouraging, authenic space for new Mums to share their experinces & feel comfortable getting back into movement together.
This is a 5 week postpartum program for new mums to do something for YOU, to regain strength & to feel GOOD whilst doing so. We believe it’s important to give back to YOU through this time and movement has such a positive impact on our mental and physical selves. By joining this program, we believe you can show up better in all aspects of your life. Because YOU are important too!

What is involved in this program?
As a Mum your life changes. Finding time for yourself & movement is challenging and that is why we have designed this program to be achieveable & realistic for this stage of your life.
These workouts are specifically designed to reintroduce you to movement, reconnect & regain core strength, improve posture & work at a slow & steady pace. Vic & Mia have curated these workouts to be effective as possible in just 20-30 minutes so you can fit them into your schedule at home.
SIGNATURE STYLE – Our fave class here at Hyper, Signature style focuses on fine tuning those smaller muscles you didn’t know existed. You’ll sweat, burn and feel it the next day in all the right places.
STRENGTH TRAINING – Using slightly heavier weights, our strnegth classes with focus on sculpting & strengthening the entire body with a special focus on glutes. You may not be able to sit on the toilet the next day.
PILATES – Our pilates sessions are all about that deep burn, focusingon the breath & bringing things back to basics as we slowly progress over 5 weeks.
WALK – An optional component of this challenge is to incorporate 2-3 x walks each week with bub.

- 3kg weights for strength workouts

How do I join in on MOVE IT MUMMA?
This postpartum program can be done from home via Hyper Online. All workouts are pre-recorded & you will tick off 3 x 15-20 min workouts each week ranging from Signature, strength & pilates. You will also gain access to Hyper eats, a recipe bank full of delicious healthy gluten & dairy free recipes for some added inspiration.
